Headless CMS
In recent years, the concept of "headless" has become increasingly popular when it comes to creating both flexibility in building unique digital solutions, having control over hosting, and at the same time having a simple and scalable administration. Many traditional systems like Wordpress can be configured to be headless with the help of external resources - but then you are still stuck in Wordpress, which is often what you want to move away from.
